Several measures in Australia’s Covid response would not be accepted again, Covid-19 Inquiry report finds

Federal Health Minister, Mark Butler has admitted that there was a 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 from a lockdown response to the COVID-19 pandemic to using an 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 — and that there was a lack of transparency and rationale when [state] governments made their decisions, which ended up having a profound impact on the lives and freedoms of Australians. Because of this — the panel has come to the conclusion “that many of the measures taken during COVID are unlikely to be accepted by the population ever again” due to the erosion of trust in government. Federal Health Minister, Mark Butler has announced a $251 million investment on top of the initial $90 million funding to create an Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC). It will be located in Canberra and become operational on 1 January, 2026 to ensure that we are ready for the next pandemic. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ There is much to discuss regarding this whitewashed COVID enquiry nonsense, which I will look at doing soon, likely post-election at this stage. In the meantime, these 2 videos and article are very telling. Basically, the message is, “We did the best we could and we’ll try to do better next time,” only to establish an Aussie CDC and ensure us there is definitely another pandemic coming. As far as “vaccine mandates” go, they say the public is unlikely to go along with this approach in future. They’re right. But when your Digital ID is linked to your compliance, it’s a different game. Again, will address all of this in the near future at length. https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/australia/several-measures-in-australias-covid-response-would-not-be-accepted-again-covid19-inquiry-report-finds/news-story/4377ea075743cca3c264a4165b0384d5 Follow @zeeemedia
