👑😎🌊💯🔥

As the undisputed greatest surfer of all time…

Kelly Slater has spoken up for every surfer, every athlete and every single soul who truly values freedom and the gifts that life bestows upon us all.

But there’s a flip side to what he’s done.

He’s also inadvertently exposed the weakness and cowardice of the Australian surfing industry on display over the last three years.

By nature…

we surfers have always been anti establishment and anti anything that would try to contain our free spirits…

spirits that are most happy amongst the raw, real and humbling power of the ocean.

For us,

trying to fit into to a society that is the antithesis of the essence of surfing is difficult at the best of times…

but it’s also another kind of wave we have all learned to ride and navigate as best we can…

because most the time,

we just wanna go surf.

Surfers have in many ways,

become the modern archetypes of true freedom…

risking injury, drownings, sharks and sharp reefs…

just for that moment of bliss and indescribable exhilaration that keeps surfers surfing for all their days.

Australia’s surfing history is characterised by some of the wildest and most eccentric personalities you could imagine…

Legendary larrikin types who carved their names into surfing folklore,

embodying the spirit of Australian adventure and fearlessness in the face of real and present danger.

Did you know that Australia has taken more world surf titles than any other nation on the face of the earth??? 🏆

Australia is known for producing the most talented surfers in the world…

but where on earth have all the legends of Aussie surfing been over the last 3 years of this tyrannical and freedom destroying agenda?

Seriously!!!

Where the bloody hell are you all???
