The Queensland Police Union has hinted at plans to buy the block of land in Wieambilla used in last week’s deadly shooting.
The QPU is in talks with the Palaszczuk government to ensure the land isn’t occupied by conspiracy theorists again.
There are early suggestions the site could be used as a retreat for officers or a training facility.

"I’m just going to leave this here for the Police Union that claim they are buying up the property to keep it safe from “conspiracy theorists” and have made no mention of a certain gas pipeline they may or may not want to access."
